If you are familiar with the prolific industrial act, Final Cut, then you have already heard Asrock. Anthony "Asrock" Srock, then a radio and club DJ, began collaborating with DJ Jeff Mills. The pair had several releases, but their first commercial success was the international club hit "Take Me Away" just as Detroit technos first wave was peaking. Srock then left Detroit for Chicago and expanded the range of FC beyond minimal techno. The music was a mix of industrial, house and techno, and showed Asrocks roots as a DJ absorbing different genres. On the scene for 31 years now, Srock has opened and headlined for some of the worlds biggest Dj's in Clubs Worldwide and has and continues to appear at festivals as well as touring with FC.
